Vatican news site boasts rising traffic
CWN - January 24, 2012
The Vatican’s news web site, which provides links to all the news services of the Holy See, is generating between 8,000 and 10,000 “hits” a day.
For purposes of comparison, the Catholic Culture web site generates at least 150,000 hits per day.
The Vatican news site is distinct from the overall Vatican internet portal, which draws much greater traffic. The news site reports higher traffic during times when internet users are likely to be attuned to religious affairs, such as Christmas and Easter.
