Tulsa Catholic Charities declines government funds
January 05, 2012
The office of Catholic Charities in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has decided to forego government grants, in order to maintain its independence and protect its ability to deliver services fully in keeping with a Catholic vision.
"We're very different," observes Rev. Mr. Kevin Sartorius, the executive director of Tulsa Catholic Charities. In other dioceses, Catholic charitable organizations have come under pressure to accept government mandates that often clash with Church teachings.

That is great! However, after the 2012 election they might even feel comfortable accepting government grants again. Catholics do pay taxes to fund those grants. We just need to get rid of obama!
