Pakistani woman, in prison on blasphemy charges, seen in poor health
Catholic World News - December 20, 2011
Asia Bibi, the Pakistani Christian woman who was condemned to death on blasphemy charges after a highly questionable trial, is in fragile condition as she prepares for another Christmas in prison.
Visitors found Bibi looking thin and tired, and showing signs of disorientation after her months in captivity. While thanking supporters for their prayers, she pleaded for help to secure her release and her return to her children.
