Hear God's call daily, Pope encourages Italian youth
CWN - December 19, 2011
On December 19, Pope Benedict XVI met with a group of young members of Italian Catholic Action, for an exchange of Christmas greetings.
In his remarks to the group the Holy Father concentrated on the theme that Catholic Action had chosen for study this year: the message to Bartimaeus: “Arise, He is calling.” The Pope reminded the children that God is always calling, especially through the sacraments. “Always be attentive to this great gift, appreciate it, and be grateful to the Lord,” he told them.
