Naples archdiocese closes Jubilee year with papal exhortation

Catholic World News - December 19, 2011

As the Archdiocese of Naples, Italy closed a Jubilee year celebration, Pope Benedict XVI sent a video message voicing his hope that the year had been an “immersion in the mystery of God, and therefore a time of grace.”

The Pope urged the faithful of Naples to live out their faith “with renewed enthusiasm and with the strength of faith, hope, and charity.” The papal message was read at closing ceremonies for the Jubilee, at which Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe presided in the city’s cathedral.
