Minnesota priest sentenced to 1 year for sexual exploitation of troubled woman

A Catholic priest in St. Paul, Minnesota has been sentenced to a year in prison for sexual abuse of a woman he was counseling.

Father Christopher Wenthe was ordered by the court to pay $90,000 to the woman with whom he had engaged in sexual activities.

    Things like this are just outrageous. Hopefully his year of confinement will be a kind of retreat for him. Still, such folks should not be in ministry afterwards.
