USCCB releases radio announcements on behalf of foreign aid

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has released radio public service announcements urging listeners to lobby federal lawmakers on behalf of poverty-focused international assistance.

“We must protect these programs,” says Bishop Howard Hubbard of Albany. “Please contact your members of Congress.”

    At what point do we admit that the U.S. is spending money beyond its means and pretty much everything needs to be cut dramatically? When nobody will lend us any more money?
