International Theological Commission to meet next week
CWN - November 21, 2011
The International Theological Commission will gather in Rome next week for its annual plenary meeting, to discuss 3 main topics: theological methodology, monotheism, and Catholic social doctrine.
The International Theological Commission works under the auspices of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, whose prefect, Cardinal William Levada, will preside at the plenary meeting. The group is led by a secretary-general, Bishop-elect Charles Morerod, OP, who was named earlier this month to become head of the Lausanne, Switzerland diocese.
