Pope will illuminate world's largest 'Christmas tree'--by iPad
CWN - November 14, 2011
Pope Benedict XVI will use an iPad to turn on the lights of the world’s largest “Christmas tree.”
Residents of Gubbio, Italy, have arranged a series of lights on the hill overlooking their town, forming the shape of a Christmas tree over 2,000 feet high. Town officials have arranged a video conference on December 7 at which the Pope—from his residence in the apostolic palace—will touch a button on an iPad to turn on the lights and illuminate the hill.
