End religious violence in Nigeria, Pope pleads

At the conclusion of his Angelus audience on Sunday, November 6, Pope Benedict XVI expressed his grief over the latest religious violence in Nigeria, and promised his prayers for the victims and their families.
The Pope made a plea βto end all violence, which does not resolve problems but accentuates them by sowing hatred and discord, also among believers.β
