Pope’s November prayer intentions [CORRECTED]
CWN - November 02, 2011
The Vatican has released the prayer intentions of Pope Benedict XVI for November 2011.
The Pope’s general intention is “That the Eastern Catholic churches and their venerable traditions may be known and esteemed as a spiritual treasure for the whole Church.”
His missionary intention is: “ That the African continent may find strength in Christ to pursue justice and reconciliation as set forth by the second Synod of African Bishops.”
Editor's note: The Vatican Information Service inadvertently repeated the Holy Father's October prayer intentions in a November announcement, and CWN passed along that error in an earlier version of this report. We regret the error.
