Papal prayers for Turkish earthquake victims
CWN - October 26, 2011
At the conclusion of his public audience on October 26, Pope Benedict XVI issued an appeal for help for the victims of an earthquake in Turkey.
“I invite you to join me in prayer for the people who have lost their lives, and to remain spiritually close to those who have been so sorely tried,” the Pope said. He offered his prayers, too, for those involved in efforts to rescue survivors.
