Pope's liturgical schedule for Christmas season made public

The Vatican has released a full schedule of public liturgical events at which Pope Benedict XVI will preside during the months of November 2008 through January 2009. The Vatican calendar includes all the traditional papal ceremonies of the Christmas season, including the midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, the Urbi et Orbi blessing on Christmas Day, and the celebration of the feast of Mary, Mother of God, together with recognition of the World Day of Peace on January 1.
