Spanish Catholic hospital reportedly continues scheduling abortions

October 25, 2011

A Catholic hospital in Barcelona, Spain, has continued to perform abortions, despite orders from Cardinal Luis Martinez Sistach, the LifeSite News service reports.

A Barcelona priest reports that in conversation with a board member of Holy Cross and St. Paul Hospital, he learned that the institution schedules “eugenic” abortions in cases involving fetal abnormalities, and justifies some other procedures if the pregnancy is deemed a threat to the health of the mother.
