Former Zenit publisher clarifies Legionary role
CWN - October 20, 2011
Father Thomas Williams, the former publisher for the Zenit news agency, clarifies relations between Zenit and the Legion of Christ in an interview with the Catholic News Agency.
Father Williams, himself a Legionary priest, responds to criticisms that were raised by Jesus Colina, the founder of Zenit, when he was forced to resign earlier this month. Colina's departure was soon followed by the resignations of the six editors who guided Zenit's work in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic editions.
