US bishops’ conference releases new CCHD video
CWN - October 18, 2011
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced the release of a new video to promote the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), the controversial anti-poverty program.
“CCHD: Living Our Faith, Breaking the Cycle of Poverty” includes interviews with grant recipients, including a young woman affected by rising rents, a man living in an apartment without adequate heat and air conditioning, and a small businessman who provides jobs to the homeless.
