Caritas agency stages events to raise public awareness of relief work in Rome
CWN - October 11, 2011
The local office of the Catholic relief agency Caritas is organizing a “week of solidarity” in Rome, calling attention to the agency’s work on behalf of the poor abroad.
Msgr. Enrico Feroci, the director of Caritas in Rome, said that the group will be hosting lectures, presentations, exhibits, performances, and discussions in its offices and clinics, hoping to “make people aware of the daily efforts of solidarity made by thousands of people, efforts which often pass unobserved.”
