Australia's bishops begin ad limina visit: a time for appraisal
Catholic World News - October 10, 2011
Australia’s Catholic bishops are in Rome this week for their ad limina visit, Vatican Radio notes.
The bishops’ meetings with Vatican officials will provide an opportunity to assess the problems facing the Church in Australia, which were illustrated most vividly in May when the Pope removed Bishop William Morris from the Toowoomba diocese after years of tension over the bishop’s heterodox teaching and pastoral leadership.
