Russia: local officials deny permit to complete Catholic parish

Archbishop Paolo Pezzi of Moscow decried the “deliberate discrimination against the Catholic population of Pskov” after officials there refused to renew a permit that would have allowed for the completion of a Catholic parish. Pskov is a city of 200,000 in western Russia.
