Schedule set for October papal visit to Italian towns

The Vatican has unveiled the schedule for an October 9 visit by Pope Benedict XVI to the towns of Lamezia Terme and Serra San Bruno, Italy.
The Pope will fly from Rome to Lamezia Terme on Sunday morning, celebrating Mass outside the town. After lunch with bishops of the region, he will take a helicopter to Serra San Bruno, meeting with local officials there before presiding at Vespers at the church connected with the local Carthusian monastery. After meeting with the monks, he will return to Lamezia Terme for the flight back to Rome.
