Vatican Museums offer free admission for European Heritage Days

The Vatican has announced plans to join in the observance of European Heritage Days by offering free admission to the Vatican Museums and the catacombs of Rome.
The European Heritage Days, an initiative sponsored by the Council of Europe, will be celebrated on September 25 by 50 participating European countries. Each year the Vatican has taken part in the effort, welcoming visitors to the Vatican’s most popular sites.
