Bl. John Paul II saw 9/11 as attack on 'all of humanity'
CWN - September 09, 2011
Blessed John Paul II recognized the terrorist attacks of 9/11 as an offense against “all of humanity,” recalls the US ambassador who was serving at the Vatican at the time.
James Nicholson reports that when he met with the Pontiff soon after the attacks, John Paul II said: “We must stop these people who kill in the name of God.”
