Philadelphia Catholic high school teachers go on strike

Teachers at Philadelphia’s 17 Catholic high schools have gone on strike after their union rejected a contract offer from the archdiocese. The union will hold a protest outside archdiocesan headquarters on the day of Archbishop Charles Chaput’s installation but pledged not to interfere with the installation ceremony.
