Bosnian grand mufti invites Pope to visit nation

At a meeting with Pope Benedict XVI during the Nov. 4-6 Catholic-Muslim Forum in Rome, Grand Mufti Mustafa Efendija Ceric, head of the Muslim community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, invited the pontiff to visit his nation. ‘I told the pope,’ he said, ‘that BiH is a country of good people and invited him to visit our country and Sarajevo.’ The grand mufti called the forum ‘a landmark for resolution of differences in the European context.’
