2 new Catholic schools open near Detroit

Two new Catholic high schools are opening in the Archdiocese of Detroit, the result of initiatives by parents. Catholic school enrollment in the archdiocese has plummeted from 203,000 in 1964-65 to 32,000 today; one of the new schools is the first new girls’ school in the archdiocese since 1965.
