Shots fired at car of priest who criticized Mafia
CWN - September 02, 2011
An Italian priest who has been a vocal critic of the Mafia reports that shots were fired at his parked car as “a serious warning.”
Father Giuseppe Campisano was not in his car, which was parked at his rectory, when the shots were fired on August 29. The incident occurred during the day, he believes, because the people delivering the warning “wanted to be heard” by the general public as well as by the priest himself.
