CWN - August 31, 2011
On Wednesday, August 31, Pope Benedict XVI attended a concert of sacred music organized in his honor by Cardinal Domenico Bartolucci.
Cardinal Bartolucci, the longtime director of the Sistine Chapel choir, was elevated to the College of Cardinals by Pope Benedict last November. Among the pieces presented at the August 31 concert was his own new composition, Benedictus, written for the occasion.
