Islam's hidden weakness
CWN - August 23, 2011
Father James Schall makes the provocative observation that Islam's rise to power could be reversed--just as quickly and peacefully as the Soviet empire perished--because of a fundamental weakness.
"The fragility of Islam, as I see it, lies in a sudden realization of the ambiguity of the text of the Koran," Father Schall writes. While the Koran constitutes the basis for unity among the world's Muslims, there is no unity on the interpretation of the Islamic text, nor even a clear agreement on what the book really is.
