World Youth Day participants can meet US bishops
CWN - August 11, 2011
Young adults taking part in World Youth Day will have several different opportunities to meet various US bishops attending the event in Madrid.
Eight bishops will offer catechesis, Archbishop J. Peter Sartain of Seattle will address a Theology on Tap gathering, and Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia will take part in a panel discussion. In addition, pilgrims will have the opportunity to take part in other “meet the bishop” activities.
English-speaking pilgrims will also have the opportunity to hear presentations by speakers from the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the Sisters of Life, EWTN, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, the Knights of Columbus, Project Rachel, and other apostolates.
