CWN - August 05, 2011
The Wilmington-Philadelphia province of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales has agreed to a $24.8-million settlement with 39 abuse victims. The settlement follows the Diocese of Wilmington’s recent $77.4-million settlement with 154 victims.
While the dozen priests who admitted or were credibly accused of abuse served in various parishes, each taught for a time at the Salesianum School, a Catholic boys’ school in Delaware.
