Vatican questions Mexican bishop's stand on homosexuality

A Mexican bishop has admitted that the Vatican has asked for an explanation of his support for a group that questions Church teachings regarding homosexuality.
Bishop Raul Vera Lopez of Saltillo said that he has received questions from Rome about his backing for the San Elredo Community. The bishop argued that the group's stance is not really at variance with Church teachings, and "I am ready to clear things up."
