Ex-priest, escaped from abuse charges, now wants compensation from Vatican
CWN - July 27, 2011
A former Catholic priest in Italy is demanding compensation from the Vatican for the psychological damage caused by sexual abuse he endured as a child--notwithstanding the fact that he himself has been charged with abuse.
Dino Citel moved to Italy in 1991. He had been serving as a Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Louisiana, when police there discovered a collection of videotaped encounters between Citel and various young men.
