Pope's former students to gather for talks on New Evangelization
Catholic World News - July 20, 2011
The annual Ratzinger Schülerkreis-- the seminar for Pope Benedict’s former theology students—will discuss the “new evangelization.”
For more than 30 years, dating back to the time when he was Archbishop of Munich, Pope Benedict has invited his former students to gather for a few days of discussions on a theological topic with important current implications. In recent years, the topics have included the Islamic understanding of divinity, evolution, and the interpretation of Vatican II. As in previous years, the seminar will be held at the Pope’s summer residence in Castel Gandolfo.
