UK Christian leaders: Remember Holy Land Christians
CWN - July 19, 2011
Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster and the Anglican primate, Archbishop Rowan Williams of Canterbury, are hosting a conference on July 18-19 to draw attention to the plight of Christians in the Holy Land. Speakers include the Latin Patriarch and Anglican bishop of Jerusalem.
“We want Christians in congregations in this country, the sort of Christians who are likely to go on pilgrimage to the Holy Land, to have a better understanding of how critical the situation is for our brothers and sisters there,” said Archbishop Nichols.
