Legionaries of Christ close Sacramento university, seminary

The Legionaries of Christ have announced the closing of the University of Sacramento, a fledgling institution that offers master’s programs in theology and catechesis. The decision comes one year after the Legionaries closed Southern Catholic College in Georgia.
The Legionaries have also announced the closing of Immaculate Conception Apostolic School, a high school seminary in Colfax, California.
