New Center will work to revive Catholic orthodoxy on campus

William Saunders and Robert George welcome the news that the Cardinal Newman Society has launched a new Center for the Advancemetn of Catholic Higher Education, located at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, and headed by Msgr. Stuart Swetland. The new Center, the authors observe, will rally Catholic scholars to undo the damage done by the Land’O’Lakes statement in 1967.
