Washington Theological Union to close
CWN - June 28, 2011
Citing financial concerns, the Washington Theological Union has announced that it will close in 2013. Founded by six religious orders in 1968, the graduate school of theology and ministry has 1,400 alumni.

Given the quality of their theological output and their reputation for dissent, maybe a better name would have been Washington Theological Forum (WTF)!

Hmmm. Of course they could have tried orthodoxy. Naw...too simple.
