Make John Paul II patron saint of modern communications, Italian journalists urge

An Italian journalists’ union has suggested that if and when Pope John Paul II is canonized, he should be named the patron saint of modern communications.
The Roman Reporters’ Union observed that the late Pontiff was a master communicator who showed a “wise and courageous openness to all new technologies.”
