SNAP calls upon Cardinal George to resign as USCCB president

The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) yesterday called upon Cardinal Francis George to resign as president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. ‘You continue to put your own reputation and comfort above the safety and well-being of your flock,’ the organization said in a letter. David Clohessy, the organization’s national director, added, ‘The top Catholic official in America continues to set a reckless and deceitful example for his brother bishops.’
