How prudes and libertines are alike

A column by Anthony Esolen is invariably worth reading. His commentary on prudery, for The Catholic Thing, is no exception to that rule:
The opposite of the prude, then, is not the cynical libertine. Indeed, there is a kind of convergence between those two.
