Continued decline in Southern Baptist membership

For the fourth consecutive year, membership in the Southern Baptist Convention--the United States’ largest Protestant denomination--declined in 2010. The number of Southern Baptists now stands at 16.1 million.
There are 68.5 million Catholics in the United States.
