Iraqi Christian tortured and killed as campaign of intimidation continues
CWN - May 17, 2011
A Christian man, the young father of three small children, was kidnapped, tortured, and beheaded, in the latest of a long series of violent assaults that have frightened the Christians remaining in Iraq.
The body of Ashur Yacob Issa was discovered on May 16. He had been seized three days earlier; his kidnappers had initially demanded a $100,000 ransom payment.
