Nicaragua: bishops launch Rosary crusade
CWN - May 13, 2011
The bishops of Nicaragua have launched a national Rosary crusade for peace ahead of national elections later this year. The crusade will culminate in a day of prayer and fasting on July 1.
The bishops launched the crusade at Rivas, a small city in the southwestern part of the nation. The faithful responded with boos when the city’s mayor began to deliver a politicized speech for the occasion.
