Pakistan: blasphemy charges against mentally ill Christian

A 25-year-old man who suffers from mental illness is the latest Pakistani Christian charged with violating the country’s blasphemy law.
Babar Masih has been accused of “offending the religious sentiments” of Muslims with his public remarks. His relatives have fled into hiding, fearing that Islamic militants might attack their homes.
