Filipino zealots stage crucifixions

About 20 Filipino Catholics staged their own crucifixions on Good Friday, in an annual display of religious fervor that is strongly condemned by the nation's bishops. The bloody practice, which has been performed by a few zealous Catholics each year since the 1950s, draws thousands of curious spectators.
