Polish feminist party has naked appeal September 20, 2007
A Polish political party, the Women's Party, joining in its first parliamentary election campaign, is advertising with a billboard featuring naked women.
Party leader Manuela Gretkowska explained, "We are courageous, strong, and independent. Naked and true. We have clean hands, hearts, and intentions."
The party supports equal pay for men and women, sexual education, and public funding for contraception and in-vitro fertilization. Women's world boxing champion Agnieszka Rylik appears in a television commercial for the party.
