Catholic Recipe: Noodles with Croutons and Poppy Seeds
This is a simple side dish of egg noodles, flavored with poppy seeds and homemade croutons. A wonderful dish.
To make croutons, fry bread cubes in hot oil, stirring with fork until brown and crisp. Drain on paper toweling. Cook noodles as directed on package; drain; rinse with hot water; add melted butter or margarine, croutons, and poppy seeds; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss with fork to mix thoroughly.
