Catholic Recipe: Frankfurter Sandwich Rolls
Here's a recipe that makes it easy to pre-make the hot dogs with all the fixings.
Combine franks, cheese, scallions, olives, eggs, chili sauce, and mayonnaise; mix thoroughly. Open buns; fill each with about 1/3 cup of frank mixture. (Bun will close only partially.) Wrap each bun in heavy-duty or broiler foil, twisting ends tightly. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
