Catholic Recipe: Ruby Punch

    INGREDIENTS

  • 2-1/2 cups Sugar Syrup (see below)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • 2-1/2 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups bottled lime juice
  • 4 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 large bottles pale dry ginger ale
  • orange slices
  • maraschino cherries

This fruit punch uses Ruby Grapefruit for flavoring.

DIRECTIONS

Combine sugar syrup and fruit juices. Pour over ice in punch bowl. Add ginger ale. Garnish with orange slices and maraschino cherries. Makes 50 punch cup servings.

Sugar Syrup: Combine equal amounts of sugar and water; stir over heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to boil; boil 8 minutes.
