Catholic Recipe: Strawberries Claret

Strawberries soaked in claret wine make a tasty light dessert. Time includes chilling.

DIRECTIONS

Wash 1 quart (4 cups) strawberries in ice water. Drain, hull, and sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Add 1 cup claret. Chill in serving dish for at least 1 hour, stirring gently several times. Serve with macaroons.
